We have had a tremendous response and I thank you all for your replies and support. Gordon, a special thank you for the support in the Bahamas! The Caretakers Cottage is an immediate priority and we will make it comfortably livable and include the quality we would all expect at our own homes. This project should materially impact our success in recruiting the highest quality interns and keeping them for an extended period of time. Don’t mistake the paint and stucco as just surface improvements. This can be a fundamental shift in our staffing and programming as we provide exceptional housing for some exceptional people. The quality experience our volunteers have with all of the staff at BMH can propel the outreach to new heights.

Also, please be ever mindful that we are not in this as a numbers game or only to keep score. We are providing this ministry and outreach to lead Christians to a deeper relationship with our Lord and bring the lost to our Good Shepherd. It’s not just about supplies and a freshly renovated cottage. There is so much more that together, we can accomplish. Thank you to each of you for your commitment to our ministry and to one another.

Dan, Gordon said it best – we are family. I hope you can feel the love we pour out to you in our prayers and that you can feel God’s hand on your shoulder as He shares this journey with you, by your side. We appreciate all you do for BH and understand this will take a back seat to the care you need to provide to your mother. Let us know how we can help you. Jeff
