Cat Island is one of our more remote Camps but the most beautiful in its raw natural beauty.  Many tourist come to escape in its tranquility from the rush of everyday life.  It used to be an island known for the magnificent cotton plantations established in the 1700’s, but today most people come and see Mt. Alvernia, the highest point in the Bahamas at 206 feet.

Lauderdale, you will need to fly with Continental Airlines (19 seater) into New Bight (TBI).  If you choose to fly into Nassau first and then on to Cat Island, fly with Cat Island Air (19 seater) into Arthur’s Town.  You can reach Cat Island Air by calling (242) 377-3318.
