The Bahamas Methodist Habitat (BMH) is also supported by our US Stateside mission support organization simply known as Bahamas Habitat (BH). Bahamas Habitat is a US Based Non-Profit Organization recognized by the US Internal Revenue under IRS code section 501(c)3.
Bahamas Habitat acts as a network of support for donations, fund raising, volunteer recruitment, project management and promotion for the mission work of the Bahamas Methodist Habitat.
The organization is currently working on the development of numerous ongoing and new projects including volunteers for disaster relief, the deployment of volunteer dental teams in the Bahamas, the acquisition of aircraft for BMH for use in the mission field, semiannual Fly-In & Help Out events along with promotions, fundraising and other support activities.
Since its humble beginnings throughout 2006-07 there was a vision shared for getting more people involved on an International level. On July 25th, 2007 the BMH and BH Board of Directors partnered together in Nassau, Bahamas…and Bahamas Habitat was born…and they continually grow at an exponential rate.
